Study Abroad - Australia
Australia is the largest island and the smallest continent on the earth. In land area, Australia is the 6th largest nation after Russia, Canada, China, United States of America and Brazil. Australia, officially the Commonwealth of Australia, is a highly developed country in the Southern Hemisphere comprising the mainland of the Australian continent, the island of Tasmania and numerous smaller islands in the Indian and Pacific Oceans.
Quality of Education and Flexibility
Quality of Australian education is known to all. Education Services for Overseas Students (ESOS) Act 2000 ensures that Institutions who enroll international students are registered with Commonwealth Register of Institutions and Courses for Overseas Students (CRICOS). This ensures that Institutions meet stringent standards, for marketing activities, education delivery, facilities and student support services.
The Australian Qualifications Framework (AQF) links 15 school, vocational and university education qualifications into one national system. This allows you to move towards the next level of study easily and importantly, the flexibility to also change your Institution. If you’re studying an AQF qualification, you can be sure that your institution is Government-authorised and nationally accredited, and that your Degree or other AQF qualification will be genuine. The AQF makes it easy for overseas governments to recognise your qualification.
Course
Australia will offer you courses at all levels without compromising on the quality aspect. Dynamic and progressive education programs are offered with a reputation for excellence.
Duration
Most Australian courses are of shorter duration. Degree courses can be completed in 3 years or even less if the education provider works on a trimester system. Did you know that several MBA programs (especially where no work experience is required) are only of 1.5 years.
Work
Part-Time Work: You can work up to 20 hrs/week (like most other countries) during study period and full-time (generally 40 hrs/week) during vacations Earnings: The earnings vary between AU$ 10 to AU$ 18 per hour
English Requirement
5.0 Bands and above
IELTS is the only acceptable test for checking the English language proficiency of student by the Australian High Commission.
IELTS is a mandatory requirement for the processing of visa application. Institutions may accept TOEFL score admission purposes however student must have an IELTS score before applying for visa.
Students can also go to Australia for studying an English course called ELICOS in case they are short of .5 or 1 band from the required score.

Colleges 13,000.00 – 17,000.00 AUD$ per year
Post Graduate Studies:

Living Expenses as per the Australia High Commission visa guidelines:

Quality of Education
NZQA is responsible for approving and registering all courses and national qualifications offered at polytechnics and private training establishments. NZVCC is responsible for approving all diplomas, undergraduate and graduate programmes offered by New Zealand universities. These bodies ensure the quality of education and determine the delivery of qualifications. As a former British colony, NZ’s education system is based on the prestigious British system.
Course: You name a course from business (incl. top rated MBAs), architecture, agriculture to tourism, communication studies, IT, engineering, digital media, fashion design, film, health sciences, hospitality, law, shipping and more – you have it on the tables in NZ, quality uncompromised.
Scholarship/ Bursaries
- There are very few bursaries offered at under graduate or post graduate level for course work studies.
- Few scholarships are primarily available for research programs.
- PhD student are required to pay domestic fees which is highly affordable as compared to PhD fees in any other country.
Visa
No personal interview is required, unless there are some really unusual circumstances. Mostly, this is also done over the phone. And if you receive a call, you can always get back to them.
Work
Part-time Work (while you study): You can work up to 20 hrs/week (like most other countries) during study period and full-time (generally 40 hrs/week) during vacations (and it’s visibly mentioned on your student visa too). You can take care of your living expenses this way (min. wage is NZ $12 per hour).
Job Search Visa (Guaranteed): After successful course completion, you will automatically get a 12 months 'Work Permit' (in most cases, this will be done at your Institution). You can work full-time in any job of your choice. But remember, if you are aiming a NZ Permanent Residency, then you have to find a job relevant to your course (that you have completed in NZ).
English Requirement
IELTS &/or TOEFL are not mandatory requirements however its highly recommended for clear and timely processing of admission and visa application. Students cannot go to NZ to study an English course. Student must have required language capability from their country before enrolling in a NZ institute.
